Come and join us as hydraulics/pneumatics engineer at Smit Mobile Equipment. In our spacious workshop in Oud-Beijerland, you'll work with a small team on our trailer hydraulics. Your contribution is really important. Our mobile trailers are vital, they ensure that medical care is and remains accessible, all over the world. • Together with your team you will assemble the various parts according to the technical drawings and specific work instructions. 
• You’ll be responsible for the electronics and testing the hydraulic systems. This includes installing the hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and fittings as well as electric cables.
• Thanks to your accurate work, our trailers pass their vehicle (RDW) inspections first time, for instance, because you've mounted the axles tightly and aligned the wheels.
• Your duties also include troubleshooting electronic and hydraulic malfunctions. Come work with us, we need your help!

You know better than anyone how important it is that your work is correct, we can't deliver trailers without a good hydraulic system. Do the following characteristics describe you? Then you could be our ideal match:

• You have completed a technical training, such as automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, mobile equipment or something similar.
• You have practical experience with hydraulics and pneumatics, and even better if you also have experience with assembly and installation. We realise we're asking a lot, but you don't let that put you off and you apply today!
• Technical drawings? You're familiar with these and know how to use them.
• It would also be great if you have experience with electrical systems, engine technology and/or generators, but that's not a break point.
• You speak good Dutch and are used to speaking English too.
